Old Crow Medicine Show has been on fire lately!
- On September 17th, 2013 they were inducted into the Grand Ole Opry
- They also recently won the Grammy for Best Long Form Music Video for the film, “Big Easy Express”
- Their classic song, “Wagon Wheel,” recently received the RIAA’s platinum certification for selling over 1,000,000 copies!
The band was discovered by folk icon Don Watson, who found them playing in front of a pharmacy in Boone, NC. He booked them to play MerleFest, which led to them eventually finding their way to Nashville where they were the between-shows band at the Grand Ole Opry.
It’s been fifteen years since those humble beginnings and they have gone on to take the world by storm.
