Congratulations to Maddie & Tae! Their debut single “Girl In A Country Song” has hit #1 on the charts! The pair of 19-year olds have seen fans purchase more than 400,000 downloads of the single as of late last month, and now will have a #1 plaque to go with their future Gold Single certification!
In a genre currently dominated by solo male artists, to have an all-female duo score a #1 single (on their debut release no less!) makes it that much more impressive. Congratulations ladies!
