Just in time to add it to your Christmas list, Garth Brooks has announced that he will be releasing new music. The four-CD box set, ‘Blame It All on My Roots: Five Decades of Influences’, will be available through Wal-Mart on November 19, 2013. Brooks made the announcement on November 9th, towards the end of a special GAC did on the iconic singer.
The set will feature Brooks covering 40 songs from influential artists throughout his life, many of which he has performed during his One Man Show at the Encore Theatre in Las Vegas.
Each disc will contain 10 tracks, which will range in variety of genres from country classics, classic rock, soul and a ‘melting pot’ category, with Books covering Cat Stevens’ ‘Wild World’, Simon & Garfunkel’s ‘Mrs. Robinson’ and a duet with his wife, Trisha Yearwood, who also lends her voice as background vocals on many of the tracks throughout the 40-track set.
With the release of this set, it looks like there are big things in store for Garth Brooks fans in the future!
